Charles Biederman (2906-2004) was a painter and sculptor from Red Wing, Minn. Biederman was born Aug. 23, 1906 in Cleveland, Ohio. He studied art at the Cleveland Art Institute, and later at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago. He worked and lived in Chicago, New York, and Paris. He moved to Red Wing, Minnesota in 1942. Naum Gabo, born Naum Borisovich Pevsner, was a Russian sculptor. Gabo was educated in Russia and Munich before emigrating to Scandinavia in 1915. He then lived in Russia (1917-1922), Germany (19322-1932), France (1932-1935), and England (1936-1946) before emigrating to the United States in 1946 and settling in Connecticut.
